Where we deliver

SyntaxaSoft SIA ships within Latvia only. Orders to other countries cannot be accepted at the moment.

How long it takes

Expect 10-20 business days from the moment the order is confirmed. That covers one to two business days of handling and the rest in transit.

We do not keep stock in Latvia. Each order is dispatched by the mill that produces the goods, which is why the wait is longer than for a local warehouse. Public holidays, customs inspections and courier backlogs can extend it.

If nothing has arrived 20 business days after confirmation, write to business@syntaxasoft.com and we will trace the parcel.

Shipping cost

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and the size of the order. The amount is shown before any payment is taken.

Import VAT and customs

Goods dispatched from outside the European Union are subject to import VAT and, above certain thresholds, customs duty when they enter the EU. This applies from the first euro of value; the old exemption for low-value consignments was withdrawn in July 2021.

Where these charges apply they are collected by the carrier from the person receiving the parcel, before it is handed over. They are set by the authorities, not by us, and they are separate from the price shown on this site.

Refusing to pay an import charge means the parcel is returned or destroyed by the carrier. Where it comes back to us we refund the goods, less any costs the carrier passes on.

Damaged or missing parcels

Check the parcel before signing for it. Note visible damage on the courier document and photograph it, then contact us within 48 hours. Without that note a carrier claim is much harder to make.
