Who is responsible

What this site currently does

This is a static website. It has no server that processes your data, no database and no user accounts. In practice that means:

• There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracker.
• Fonts are served from this domain. Nothing on the page calls out to Google or any other external host.
• The checkout and contact forms do not transmit anything. What you type stays in the browser tab until you close it.

Because of this, submitting the checkout form does not place an order with us and we do not receive your address. The confirmation screen says so and offers an email link instead.

Storage on your device

We use no cookies. Two things are written to your browser’s local storage, both strictly necessary for the site to work and neither shared with anyone:

• syntaxasoft-cart - the items in your cart, so they survive a page reload. Cleared when you empty the cart or clear site data.
• Nothing else. No identifier, no session token, no profile.

Under the ePrivacy rules, storage that is strictly necessary to deliver a service the user asked for does not require consent, which is why you see no cookie banner here.

Email you send us

When you email us we process your address and the content of your message to answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and to perform a contract where the message concerns an order. We keep order correspondence for as long as accounting law requires and general enquiries for up to 24 months.

Hosting

The site is hosted on shared web hosting inside the European Union. The host keeps standard server access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. Those logs are the host’s, not ours, and we do not analyse them.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to us and we will respond within one month.

You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).

Changes

When payments are switched on, a payment provider will process your data and this policy will be updated before that happens.
