SyntaxaSoft SIA is a small Latvian company selling home textiles: bedding and duvets, curtains, blankets, towels, table linen and rugs. The range is deliberately short, and every piece in it was chosen for weight and weave rather than for a season.

What we sell

The range is uneven on purpose. Bedding is 34 of the 74 pieces, carpets are 2. We would rather be worth reading in one category than thin across seven.

How we choose

Nothing here is a claim about quality. They are the figures already printed on the product pages, and what they mean when you are choosing between two pieces.

Weight, stated as a number

Towels are quoted at 400 to 600 grams per square metre, so you can tell a face cloth from a bath sheet before it arrives. It is the only honest way to describe how much towel you are buying.

Thread count where it matters

Cotton bedding runs from 180 to 300 threads to the inch. Higher is smoother and heavier rather than automatically better: a lower count in a plain weave sleeps cooler than a high-count sateen.

Fills you can name

5 of the duvets are filled with goose down or mulberry silk against a cotton or silk shell. The composition is printed in full at the top of the product page, not buried in a footnote.

Blackout that is actually lined

5 of the curtain panels carry a separate blackout lining. The rest are voiles and chenille drapes, where letting the light through is the point.

Fibre before finish

Cotton appears in 41 of the 74 pieces and linen or a linen blend in 8. Where a piece is polyester it says so in the same place, in the same words.

Sizes

The catalog carries 212 size variants across 36 distinct labels, and every one of them states its measurement in centimetres next to its name. That is not pedantry: a King duvet is 230 by 260 centimetres in one range and 220 by 240 in another, and the name on its own will not tell you which one is arriving.

Price follows size, so the size is chosen on the product page rather than in the cart. The same piece in two sizes is two lines in your order.

How fulfilment works

We do not hold a warehouse. Orders are dispatched directly by the mill that makes them, which is why delivery takes 10-20 business days rather than two. The upside is a wider range at a price a warehouse would not allow; the downside is the wait, and we would rather tell you about it here than at the checkout.

It also means nothing is reserved for you between the order and the dispatch. In practice that changes very little, since none of these pieces are made in short runs, but it is the reason you will not find a stock counter anywhere on the site.

Shipping, VAT and returns

Goods arriving from outside the European Union can attract import VAT and customs handling on entry. Where that applies it is charged by the carrier to the person receiving the parcel. The shipping policy sets out how this works.

Anything that arrives damaged or simply wrong for the room goes back within 14 days under EU distance selling rules. The returns policy explains the steps.

What we do not do

No warehouse. Every order is dispatched by the mill that makes the piece.
No stock counter. Nothing is reserved and nothing is held back, so no piece will ever tell you two are left.
No analytics and no trackers. The only thing kept in your browser is the cart.
No accounts. Checkout is guest-only, and nothing is stored once the order is placed.
No discount codes. The price on the product page is the price.
Latvia only. We do not ship anywhere else yet.
